Severe warned thunderstorms moved into the Hilton Head, South Carolina area this evening. The storms produced some amazing lightning. This is a shot I have been wanting to get for years, lightning over a beach! These anvil crawlers were amazing! #clouds365 #lightning #southcarolina #hiltonheadisland #googleplusphotos #nikcollection #photoextractplus
Mammatus and Lightning! Amazing scene at sunset last night in Albany, TX. It was pouring when I did this panorama, that is the reason it is a little hazy on the lens, I think it adds to the moodiness of the scene :) Let me know what you think! Another image from our impromptu storm chase to NW Texas. This shot is just outside Throckmorton, TX. We watched this storm pass over the town. Lightning struck and knocked out the power giving us a even better look. Not sure why this car is driving towards the storm, but glad they did for this image. The structure and lightning was amazing! #stormchasing #lightningphotography #clouds365
Milky Way over Mono Lake, California from earlier this month. The sky was so bright and the tufas in the foreground, make this a special. #milkywayphotography #monolaketufas #clouds365 #photography #plusphotoextract #googleplusphotos #nikcollection EXIF:Canon 5D Mark III w/ EF16-35, 2.8 II USM lens16mm, f2.8, ISO4000, 30 second exposure
It is a amazing sight to watch a supercell form and produce a funnel cloud right in front of you. That is what I witnessed today in Sterling, Oklahoma this afternoon. Can't officially call it a tornado, because I can not confirm it hit the ground, but the rotation was fast and tight. We were hit with RFD and had to move quickly. Incredible day! #stormchasing #clouds365 #supercell #oklahoma
This was one of those wow moments! This image was the first shot I captured after setting up the camera. I opened the shutter, then there was a incredible flash and boom! The electrical field here literally made your hair stand up. Did not stay long! With my good friends from Tempest! #stormchasing #lightningphotography #clouds365 #oklahoma #powerful
A visit to Africa just would not feel complete without visiting some of the beautiful tribal villages, especially when these traditional cultures are losing their ornate dressing as they begin to blend in with modern idea's; a race to a generic society.......Samburu Women©www.PiperMackayPhotography.com #10000photographersaroundtheworld by +Robert SKREINER #monochromeworld #samburu #tribe #africa
My obsession with tornados surfaces once again, this time combined with another of my interests, baseball. Compositing seemed the perfect way to bring the two subjects together. As with so many of my composites, I finished this one with Nik Color Efex Pro. I discuss Color Efex is this tutorial:http://www.msjphotography.com/index.php/2012/05/photoshop-workbench-330-finishing-a-portrait-with-nik-color-efex-pro/#photoshop #photoshoptutorials #nikcollection #photocompositing #photocomposite

Loch Tulla, Scotland. From my last weekend trip. Loch Tulla it's a lovely small loch close to the Glencoe and Bridge of Orchy. I must admit that is my first time when I took landscape photo almost in the middle of the day ;)If you like this entry, please +1 and/or comment here too, or add me to your circles so you can + and comment on more of my work.Thank you +Marek Rak
