It is a amazing sight to watch a supercell form and produce a funnel cloud right in front of you. That is what I witnessed today in Sterling, Oklahoma this afternoon. Can't officially call it a tornado, because I can not confirm it hit the ground, but the rotation was fast and tight. We were hit with RFD and had to move quickly. This was one of those wow moments! This image was the first shot I captured after setting up the camera. I opened the shutter, then there was a incredible flash and boom!
